Erdem. Erdem Erdem Erdem. That's literally all that's on my mind at the moment. I have to be honest, I wasn't immediately drawn to these dresses from the Resort 2013 collection. I didn't google the images the minute I knew they'd been on the catwalk. I didn't go in style.com and look immediately for a lowdown on what they thought of the collection. If I'm being frank, I didn't really know they were going to be this good. It was like love at first sight: I don't remember entirely how I managed to come across them on the internet, but that's probably because I'm head over heels in love with them. It's like the minute I saw them, I totally forgot everything about my life before them.
The floral patterns may not be my first choice - I normally shy away from bold prints, and stick instead with statement accessories, but these have truly rocked my world. They're so wearable, in any setting, at any age. And it's hard to say that about most clothes! In the day these dresses look great with a pair of oversized sunglasses and a pair of Grecian sandals, and in the evening they look chic when combined with a blazer and simple open toe heels.
In your 20's, they look great if you pick a blazer in a bright colour (preferably in a colour that's present on the dress's print) and in your 40's they still look great with a monochrome jacket. They suit all occasions: weddings, work, evenings out, first dates. The possibilities are literally endless.
And the best bit? I love every single dress. Normally, there's a few items of any collection that I turn my nose up at, or that I would never ever pick out in a store because they're completely unwearable but this collection is different: it's so versatile, so beautiful, and so perfect.
Oh goodness, I think I'm in love!
